What Is a Blood Moon?
In case you missed it, there was a Blood Moon on Jan 20th and everyone lost their minds. What is a Blood Moon exactly? A “blood moon” is a celestial event that happens when Earth’s moon is in a total lunar eclipse. The result is the moon appearing to have a deep red color. Missed the moon this time? You’ll have to wait a bit - the next blood moon will occur in 2021 but should be visible from North America, South America, Asia, Australia, and the Pacific.
